I am a licensed clinical social worker, licensed in both Michigan and Texas. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, with a focus on Law, Justice, and Social Change, from the University of Michigan in 2017. In 2018, I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan School of Social Work and have been practicing in the field ever since. I possess certification in Substance Use Disorders and addiction, CBT, multiple child assessment tools, and clinical supervision.
At This is Life, I provide compassionate and solution-focused therapy to teens (15+) and adults (up to 65) navigating depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, psychosis, grief, stress management, sleep issues, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
I specializes in a range of mental health areas, including stress management, life transitions, and coping strategies. Her expertise extends to working with individuals facing trauma, utilizing trauma-informed approaches to promote healing and resilience
Using a client-centered and solution focused approach, I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, problem-solving techniques, and addiction-focused therapy to help you build effective coping strategies. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, focusing on identifying concerns, developing practical solutions, and reinforcing skills through light “homework” when beneficial.
Convenient and accessible, my practice is fully virtual via Zoom, with flexible evening and weekend appointments to fit your schedule.
